It is unlikely you can do anything about this unless you have some specific warrantee coverage, even then most favor the issuing company, the financing co. will want paid no matter what as they made no promise of how long of a life a vehicle would have, allowing 8 months to go by just seems lame, if you had an enforceable claim you should have had a lawyer 7 months ago, you let them all run the time clock out on you to look creditable & have nothing going for you, one never sits around waiting to see if they have a legit claim you go after it from the start.
