$2700 is a bit much for a rusty basic work truck IMO. Unless the rust is just surface rust on the hood or roof, I’d pass on it. There’s no telling how the frame looks. I took an L about a year ago on a 00’ Honda Accord. I paid $1500 for it. Well, it had a crap ton of cancer on it that compromised the frame, so I ended up scraping the car for $700 at a local junkyard. Moral of the story is if you’re gonna buy a car with some rust, do some research on the VIN and really inspect it before pulling the trigger on one.
