I had a guy hand me the correct amount of money, but when I counted it, two of the hundreds stuck together, so I thought he was a hundred short. He watched me count it, so he also thought he was a hundred short.

He dug in his pack and gave me another hundred, and we parted ways. Later we counted the money again and found we had too much. He had driven from out of town.

I called his cell phone and met him halfway back from where he was, gave him the hundred plus 10 bucks for his messing around to correct my mistake.

I don’t care about karma. You are either real or you’re not.

You’re either going to gloat that you screwed someone over, or you’re going to do the right thing.
