I’ve have over 25 Ryobi 18v tools, some of them are 25 years old that I mainly use at home or rental properties and still going strong. Ryobi and Milwaukee is the same company. Milwaukee thing is, they want the battery tools to be as powerful as the corded tools. Ryobi thing is the batteries. They have the same platform since they came out with the 18v. The batteries for the new tools today work in my 25-year-old tools. They are cheaper for both the tools and the batteries.
