I have a 06 Hyundai Elantra with a crank no start issue, here’s what I’ve done so far. Coils. Wires. Plugs. Fuel pump. It’s showing no codes, and I’ve checked fuses got it like this, so I’m starting to think timing but haven’t verified. Any thoughts? BTW: car was givin to me like this.

Take one of the spark plugs out place it in the ignition coil place it close to a ground surface n see if you have spark.

Also spray brake cleaner or starer fluid in the intake. If it starts, then it’s a fuel issue.

Does it have a tachometer? If it does and the tachometer is a working tachometer, watch the tachometer when you crank it over. It should jump up a couple hundred rpm while cranking the engine over. It it doesn’t, check the wires going to the crank sensor. If they’re good, replace your crank sensor. I like to spray staring fluid in the throttle body first and see if the car starts for a second. If it does not, you have an electrical problem. If it does start and die you have a fuel problem. If the timing belt broke you have timing and a bent valve problem.

If it doesn’t even trying firing, make sure you have injector pulse. I have had several of these over the years come in for crank no start, and they had no injector pulse from PCM.

Did you do any diagnosis or just load both barrels? 06 are simple cars.

Check for compression. Some cars will try to start with stretched chain if you unplug cam sensor.
