I have a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse. My passenger window will only roll down with the button on the passenger door. The back passenger window will only roll down from the driver’s buttons. Not sure if it’s a messed up electrical issue or if there are bad fuses. Any ideas or suggestions on where to start? Or better yet, what the main issue is?
PaulSkip checking fuses, if windows work then fuses are fine. You need to start with checking power output from master switch and go from there.
JohnDid the battery die recently? If so, I can tell you a way to reset the windows.
RickityStart by checking fuses.
CharlieTake it apart using your tube as a guide and replace the control switch. If you can’t replace the control switch, use one from the back door and control that window from your door.
NathanRain got it and messed up the switches.
MarkPossibly two separate issues. Master switch and rear passenger switch. To save money, disassembly is required to clean the contacts with deoxit and some sandpaper. If there is still an issue check the door jam wiring. Use a meter or test light to check for power.
