Please help, My 2021 Camry’s sunroof is stuck open in the tilted position and won’t close. The fuses are good. What else can I check? Thanks.
ErikPower to button, then power to motor. If you have all that then motor, probably bad.
DavidCycle key on. Turn to run but not start, wait 10 seconds, key off remove key. With key to run, try roof.
EryckPush up or down on it n then try n put it down.
KeithSounds like the track is broken or something is stuck in it. Do you have the owner’s manual? See if there’s a way to manually close it.
MarkTry popping out.
the switch out of the roof and disconnect it for 30 seconds and reconnect and try.
AlexLooking up on TIS it’s stating that you need to do a health check and see which codes you are getting, there are 2 that will cause the sunroof to stay stuck. The first code is B2341(sensor motor failure) Sensor (motor) failure (When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) enters fail-safe mode due to a problem with the motor).
The second code is B2344 Position failure (When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) enters fail-safe mode due to a problem with the gear position.
After figuring out which code you have, your TIS states you’re going to have to do multiple test on the Sun roof system and see which component went out. Hope this helped out a little.
EricSwap the open and close relays and see if it moves.
WalterCheck your powers and grounds also, doing this before confirming the motor is bad. Will not work if one or both of these are dead.
