06 TL 180xxx miles. Sits during the week but take it out on weekends. Any pointers on where to find out what’s to blame for the leakage?
IssacIs it oil or coolant, it could be a coolant line in the back of your engine block or a leak in your oil intercooler that connects to your coolant system.
IssacLay under the car and look up 😀
RichardLooks like your a/c condenser dripping, try slipping a white sheet of paper or preferably plastic under it and getting a picture after it drips on that, until then, everyone is just giving you a guess.
RandyLook for the source of the leak. We can’t do that fir ya.
BradlyCheck the oil cooler and limes running to it.
JeffCheck out oil filter housing.
ChrisVtec gasket next to front valve cover on passenger side is my guess. Easily seen during visual inspection, often mis diagnosed as valve cover gasket.
EwanFind the highest point of leak. Usually, rocker cover and sump seals or timing casings are prone to leakage. If it’s too messy to diagnose then clean it up, run it for abit or use for a day then inspect again.
EzikielDef make sure it’s not power steering reservoir pump or hoses, but could also be the corner of the valve cover gasket. Honda says to use new gasket + hondabond on the corners when putting new one on.
ChrisAntifreeze you can tab your finger in. If it has some what of a sweet taste ITA Antifreeze. Your oil is prbly black as hell so don’t taste that
