2015 Nissan Murano SL (2017.5) Sport Utility 4D – $8,975. 103k miles. 15k miles ago the transmission fluid was changed. Is it a good buy? It’s 2015 but showing 2017.5?

No, it’s the temu version of a rav4 or crv. Transmissions are junk. Also, that price is sky-high

Run very far away. Find yourself a CRV or a Rav4 (or Highlander/Pilot, adjust to your needs).

I’d also recommend an Outback but avoid that generation Forester.

The Chevy’s, Kia’s, and Hyundais of that era were all awful. An older 3.5 Edge could be good, but any Ford can be a gamble.

Not going to open the Euro can of worms.

I had a 2017 Rogue and never had transmission issues, lasted over 111k before it was totaled in an accident, but it would’ve kept going no problem. Changing the fluid with Nissan CVT fluid every 30k miles makes them more likely to last, this is maintenance a lot of people forget/ignore/don’t know.

Nothing wrong with those if they are serviced. CVT is fine. If it drives great, get it and service the CVT again so you can establish your own maintenance history.

It’s a GREAT buy. Just make sure that there aren’t any error codes, check under engine and transmission for leaks, etc.
