I’m just a girl so be easy on me lol, but I’m considering buying a 2016 Chevy Malibu with about 130000 miles on it are these cars worth buying?
NevinCan they be good cars? Yes. Will it be? Probably not. I’d keep looking. Toyota, Honda, Mazda with more miles would still last longer than a Chevy with less miles.
AzmeerNo maam those cars aren’t good even below 100k miles.
NickSteer clear of anything sold with an American flag associated with it.
RustyIf it’s the 1.5 turbo, I would stay away. They aren’t very reliable at that mileage.
KrisIs it the 2016 “Limited” w/ the 13-15 body style or a 16-25 body style? That changes this answer drastically.
PressureI hear nothing but bad things about Chevy Malibu’s.
JayvonDepends on if it’s the newer model with the 1.5 or the older style with the 2.5. 1.5 is a no, 2.5 is a bulletproof engine! Loved mine when I had it and have seen plenty with over 200k.
HanDepends on the price, you will have to spend some money on repairs, but if you don’t pay too much for it, it still can be a good deal. Toyota’s are better, but they are high price.
