2015 Nissan Pathfinder… My daughter was driving it home today, and it stalled out on her. She turned it off for a minute and started it back up, and it went okay. She pulled into the store where I met her and drove it home. Transmission seemed to be mostly fine, definitely didn’t feel like it was slipping. I’d give it gas, and it would rev to about 2500-3000, depending on if it was on a hill or not, catch and go back to normal. Had no problems getting up our hills. Has been seeming a bit “jerky” at times sometimes, like just idles a bit rough. Could it maybe be fuel injectors? I know a bit about fixing cars as my father was a mechanic and made me learn to fix them myself, but he’s been gone for 12 years, so I’m not used to newer cars (2010+) lol. If it is the fuel injectors, would they be super hard for me to replace myself?

I’d check your fluid to see if it’s dark and grab a paper towel or microfiber and wipe it on the towel and see if there’s any glitter, if so I’d get it checked at soon as possible.

Almost seems like a fuel pump? But definitely check the transmission fluid.

So I got in it this morning and the check engine light is off, and it’s been running absolutely perfect all day! I don’t understand what happened with it, lol

If she routinely runs the tank low, change the fuel filter, run a bottle of quality fuel system cleaner through it, disconnect the battery for an hour to reset the system if it went into limp mode.

Codes. Look for torn intake boot going to throttle body and small PCV hose from valve cover to intake under wiper cowl on passenger side. 90° hose on corner is tucked behind relay box above intake on passenger side.

I would check your cats, probably getting or are plugged.
