I’ve got an old 1993 Subaru Impreza that I’m finally ready to get out of my driveway and a guy wants parts from her before she heads off to the Pick and Pull. He asked for “all four door cards for sure! I would also be interested in the dash, glove box and center trim!” What’s a reasonable price for them? I checked a parts site and didn’t see any of these listed. I’m not looking to make any real money but would be annoyed to tell him five bucks for something that actually goes for $100, you know? Thanks for any input!
GeorgeNo idea about early 90s Subaru market. If Honda, I’d be thinking at least $40 a card, $60 or more for the dash. Not sure how much a pick and pull will ding you off the value for it missing those, either.
AdamFor god’s sake, everybody thinks their junk car is a gold mine.
This isn’t hard. Call a junk yard and get prices on the items he wants. That’s what junk parts are worth.
LouisHave him remove them and pay you first in case he breaks them. $20-25 per door card. And $75-125 for the dash pad, glove box, and center dash trim.
RichardJust depends on what they cost. Tell him $200. If he doesn’t like it, have him make an offer. Sounds like its free money for you, but I wouldn’t give it away.
JasonDepends on condition n not just the outside and where you’re located, every where is different. The best way to know is call a local junk yard. act like you wanna buy and see they charge.
NealPick and pull didn’t charge me anything and I took out alternator and starter.
