I sell most of my cars on marketplace. My cars are usually the highest in the market. Because I price them based on CARFAX. Some people say you’re crazy, it’s too much, but many engage and make offers. IDK, maybe it’s my area, but it works for me.

I do 17–20 photos. I take a photo of the CARFAX most of the time if it’s good.

I advertise on carfurus and CARFAX and I sell about 12 month from marketplace.

I do boost as well for cars that aren’t moving, usually on Thursdays. I change the prices often. Maybe lower or raise by $100 or so.

I am sure it could be the type of cars or maybe area, but it works for me. And yes there are slow times. I will delete cars and repost them. I make sure to post them in 20 groups that are the largest audience within 100 miles of me. Not just car sale groups but others as well. Good luck. I do put in my ads, I am a dealer.

Why would you wholesale cars on marketplace? I can’t imagine you’d get enough engagement from dealers.
