      2009 Toyota RAV4 V6 HELP.

Unfortunately, ALL of my floorboards are soaking wet. I do have a sunroof, but the dealership supposedly cleaned the drain on it.

I don’t know what to do.

I am replacing the weather stripping on the windows this week (not sure if that has anything to do with it).

It also has condensation starting to build up inside.

I would rather not sit in a musky smelling vehicle.

First same as a flood car you need to remove the carpet 2nd you need to find the leak(s) when it rains or use a sprinkler, 3 fix the actual leak & it may be the sunroof, once it stays dry install new padding & reinstall carpet, it coulld be a body seam or a front/rear glass, windows in doors drain thru the lower door & not likely the leak, nor the door seals.

There is a TSB (technical service bulletin) from Toyota on this issue. The panel below the windshield is the entry point. Check your cabin air filter first, it’s in the same area and see if it is wet.

Afyer 2 stealships and 2 independant mechnics swore they cleaned the sunroof drains and it still leaked I taped the sunroof around the perimeter with black gorilla tape on my explorer. Then I went to a car wash and vacuumed for like 2 hours. Left all the windows down on a sunny day and it finally dried out. Never leaked again. Just traded it in for a vehicle with no sunroof.

If it’s the front feel close to the firewall on the floor on the passenger side if your Evaporater drain for the ac is clogged it will backlog onto the floor board In the front

Pull the seats, pull the carpets and let them dry in the sun, put the driver’s seat back in and go to the car wash. You’ll find where it gets in.

I’d also do one of those mold foggers to neutralize any potential mold
