I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a 3.8l. I’m getting a red lightening bolt that flashes on my dash when the Jeep is at an idle or sometimes when it slows down, to turn a corner. I can turn the key off and start the motor again and it will go away. I get 3 codes… P0171, P0174, P0507. The first two codes are bank 1 and bank 2 running lean. The third is the idle control system rpm higher than expected. So far I have changed all the sensors on the motor, the throttle body, and the accelerator sensor (gas pedal). What am I missing?? Why am I still getting these codes?

Any advice point my in the right direction will be greatly appreciated…

      TIA

      Update….
My issue was with the metal line connected to the EGR valve not being tight enough and sucking air. Which was causing my vaccuum leak. Those that actually gave me good advice without the criticism…. I would like to thank you!!!!

A vacuum leak could potentially cause all of those codes

P0701 p0704 are transmission related you’ll definitely want someone that knows what there doing to deal with that you don’t want to just start throwing parts at it that can get expensive. Now the other code if it does come off I’d clean the idle air control sensor and the throttle body and take a look around to see if you notice or hear any vacuum leaks make sure the main air tube is connected everywhere and tight.

Lighting bolt is an electronic throttle body problem. Need to do some testing.

Check your MAF sensor (mass air flow), could be dirty, clogged or malfunctioning. Replace if necessary.

Most likely throttle body issue. Can be gas pedal as well, but the t/b is most common. Check connection first.

From being a certified chrysler tech for many years to independent shops to running my own business. Your throttle body needs replaced.
