2011 Dodge Ram 2500 was driving till lights where left on, battery died. Jumped it and now zero throttle response, any ideas?? I can unplug the pedal, and it will creep, but other than that nothing. Zero revving in part or neutral as well. Appreciate any advice
ChrisTest the battery, if it tests good, then clear codes and go from there, it could just be an electrical fault from the battery draining and not sending enough power around to all the modules.
MasonUnhook battery and touch positive and ground cables together for 5 minutes it’ll reset your computer in the truck.
KodyMaybe check fuses, might have popped one jumping.
RickyCheck your traction control switch.
RandyCharge and test the battery. Alternators are not designed to charge a discharged battery properly. They are there to maintain the battery.
JonathanIf these are anything like chargers, unhook the battery and try again. Seen a bunch of chargers get jumped and then act like it’s in limp mode.
GaryGet that battery charged!
LenardYou’ll have to clear the codes thrown from the battery being low.
TracyThat’s a hard reboot, you can cause more damage doing that, to replace the battery if it’s toast duh.
