I need some advice, hopefully, someone will know the answer. We changed the right turn signal bulb and now the car won’t crank. It’s a 2005 Jeep Wrangler.
JaydenCheck if you accidentally blew a fuse or disconnected something near the battery or ignition while changing the bulb.
Also, make sure the bulb socket or wiring isn’t shorting out, which could affect the starting system.
AlbertoNot related at all. Everyone’s going to give you about 10,000 suggestions.
Best to bring those suggestions down by testing. Things like test the battery, test the signal from ignition to starter, is there voltage going to the positive of the starter.
Things of that nature. OR you can do what everyone else does and guess until you fix it.
Your car, your money.
MelanieWas the engine light on prior? Are you still getting power (do the dash lights and accessories come on). Do you here a single click or rapid clicking when attempting to start?
JessicaUpdate relays and new starter put in and still no sound when turning key.
JakeDead battery? If you left a door open when you were working on it, your interior lights / dome lights may have drained the battery.
