I’m working on a 2013 Nissan Murano a friend brought it to me to fix, but it won’t rev up it has no acceleration power I can mash it to the floor, and it won’t rev up over 2,000 rpms I dropped the exhaust down to see if maybe it was the cats that is bad but with the exhaust dropped it still won’t rev up still no acceleration power.
CarlosCheck the alternator if it’s not working properly it will not send out enough voltage for everything to function right and give you limp mode.
JeremySomeone recently had a similar issue posted, I do believe they had to have the throttle body cleaned and values relearned with a scan tool. However, I would be checking codes to see what they are.
JamesDisconnect the battery for 15 minutes, it could be in limp mode.
JohnMap sensor, throttlebody, transmission, it literally could be so many things that’s gonna be impossible to diagnose it over the Internet.
JoshuaMake sure the throttle body is programmed couse car will not corilate from pedal to throttle body if not programmed have had several loose sync with dead battery or disconnected plug at throttle body.
MasonYou check the the throttle valve opens when the pedal is depressed.
KenWhat ever you do, Do NOT listen to Carlos! Scan it and check the codes. There are several things it could be, but you need to scan it first.
JohnCheck the egr cooler flap hasn’t broke off and locked the turbo up.
JasonI would suggest scanning it for codes because it could be the accelerator pedal sensor. It could also be a 5 V reference code that is putting the car and reduced power mode.
