Wait, hold up—are you seriously only allowed one unregistered car in your driveway in New York? Like, what kind of nonsense is that? Since when did your own driveway come with rules like it’s a gated community? Are they handing out citations for just existing now? I mean, if I wanna keep my project car chillin’ there, who’s it hurting? Is this a real thing or just another classic case of New York doing too much?

It’s not the whole state it’s whatever town or city you live ins rules….town of brookhaven your not aloud any unregistered cars in your driveway they need to be in the backyard under a cover yes I know it’s stupid you own the land you pay the taxes on it, and you still get told what you can and cannot do as I say it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission just don’t piss off the neighbors, and you’ll likely never have a problem one of the town inspectors told me in the first past they don’t care, and they don’t go out looking but if they get a complaint from a neighbor they act.

Off topic, but I live in NY and can get titles for any car that was last registered in NY if you ever need. I’ve already gotten over a dozen titles mailed to me for cars I bought with no title. It’s a little pricey $300 but totally worth it.

Well, that’s what happens when you live in California Jr. Rules, rules and more rules. I once had 10 at one time here in WV.

Depending on where exactly you are (and it’s not necessarily only New York) you may not be allowed any unregistered cars in your driveway.

They told me I have a week to get rid of it or register it, or I’m getting a appearance ticket for court.

I guess you chose to live somewhere that controls your life.

I have had so many cars at my house that people thought I was having a party and were upset that I didn’t invite them.
