    I had this happen a couple of times. Now I make sure to have them sign a bill of sale that specifically says “As Is, No warranty.” And I also make sure I use this phrase verbally throughout the transaction face to face.

    No matter how well you repair it and take care of it, it’s still a machine. It could break at any time.
