Hello, I would appreciate assistance. I am interested in purchasing a 2013 Dodge Caravan with 93,000 miles, a single owner, and minor cosmetic issues, including faded and damaged paint, and a clean title for $3,000.

      * Will use it as a family car, not to flip.
      * I just want to make sure I’m not overpaying.

Get a Sienna or a Highlander 10 years older with twice the miles if it’s a budget issue. That thing will give you nothing but problems.

Why do you think they’re willing to let it go at that price with miles that low? Don’t be a sucker.

I wouldn’t even flip that car in good conscience especially if it’s the 4cyl.

Those things commit suicide at 100k which is probably why they’re in a hurry to sell it.

It’s a negative-value money pit but hey…if you love being stranded all the time and giving most of your paycheck to mechanics, see if you can talk them down to $2500.

Just make sure the hazard lights work and keep an electric scooter in the back.

Sell these all day, I avoid with over 160,000 as they can get ticky. With good paint and good condition, I get 7-7,500 out of these with under 100,000 miles.

No, that’s an excellent deal. That’s about a $6500 van. You didn’t mention what size engine, but if it’s a 3.8 that is the best one.

A 3.3 isn’t bad, but it’s not as durable. Either way, drive it with care because the transmissions do not like to be abused in these.

And plan on changing the water pump in the next 30 to 40,000 miles.

You can go to any hardware store or Amazon and get a can of flood penetrol. That will cover over The faded paint and make it shine again.
