How accurate/reliable is auto check compared to CarFax?

      I have auto check through my dealer center account, but I’m a new dealer and new to flipping. Is CarFax worth spending the extra money on for the report, or is auto check just as accurate? Thanks

        I can run CarFaxes/Autocheck for anyone any time for $5!

        And honestly, it works either way. A lot of times CarFax will show an extra owner where Autocheck is more accurate. I’ve also seen frame damage on autocheck and CarFax coming clean. I think overall, CarFax is the most in-depth tho.

          We have both we have auto check for $650 a month with their website, and we can print CarFaxes we have a program for $300 a month for 10 CarFaxes then it’s $16 for it one after that we really don’t print a lot of CarFaxes but if a customer wants one we have it plus just getting way too expensive this way it’s a lot cheaper for us, we’re paying CarFax 2400 a month got out of hand.

            I personally never check auto check always CarFax, and all the customers are usually asking for specifically CarFax.

                There are people selling CarFax for $2-3 on Etsy. Minimal cost.
