So I’m throwing around an idea to purchase a 2000 accord. It has 171k on it with a new trans. Only thing I see it needs is a new left fender and brakes. I own an Autobody shop/mechanic shop. The owner wants $1500 for the car. I know civics are popular but wondering if the accords have the same following!

Offer $1200… it’s a $2500-3500 car, depending on the condition. Keep the repairs under $500 and you should be good.

If it’s k or f series, you’re fine. Accords have a cult following just like the civics, just not quite as strong.

1,200 and sell it for 2,200-2400. My 95 accord has 322k on it and runs strong ASF. Especially if it’s an f series engine bottom ends are strong enough to take boost stock, but mine is also a 5 speed most ppl that buy these cars want a manual transmission

MANUAL….or LEATHER/ SUNROOF. Don’t expect to flip a base accord for a lot of profit ..you make your money on the buy not the sale.

Yeah, I don’t know about your area, but I actually personally bought myself a 2006 Honda Accord one owner that literally had no issues except it needed some new tires and the clearcoat was fading on the hood, only 1400 bucks.

And honestly, I probably wouldn’t have even bought it if I was buying it to flip lol, but I use it as my daily driver your gas mileage car I mean honestly they’re not bad cars at all. They just don’t see that shit for value, lol

I buy Accords all the time. That’s too much for the year and what it needs done. You can get a few years newer with those kind of miles and maybe 3-500 more than he’s asking and not have to do any body work. I don’t buy any with more than 160k miles, not unless it’s a great deal.
