Anyone else’s 2015 Camaro acting weird with the auto headlights? Mine keep flicking on and off like it’s trying to communicate with aliens or something. Super annoying, especially at night. Has anyone dealt with this before? Could it be the sensor, wiring, or just the car being extra? I’d love to hear any fixes or tips—before I pull my hair out or duct tape the lights on myself. Drop your wisdom, Camaro fam!
JimThe 2015 Chevrolet Camaro may experience headlight issues, potentially including faulty airbag deployment or headlight adjustment problems. There are no specific recall or safety notices directly related to the headlights themselves, but there is a recall for airbags in this model year.
Possible switch is what it sounds like like
LoganSounds like it needs a diagnosis from an automotive technician…
PeterRemove the dash mat, it’s moving and covering your light sensor.
DanielBad wiring, probably pigtail on the lights. GM bulbs are very hot and wires/plugs can’t take it.
MarkNot enough information provided at what time of day under what conditions how frequently and have we bothered putting a scan tool in this thing and looking at live data to see what’s being requested and commanded.
MarkIt does not do this with the headlights not in the auto mode? And is the car equipped with regular halogen lights or HID lamps?
MichaelCheck your relay. Use correct wattage bulbs.
MichaelClean the sensor covered in dirt.
