I am in need of some serious help, I have a 1999 GMC 2500 4WD 6.0l v8, my issue is when I’m driving it doesn’t matter the speed or anything my truck just quits the engine cuts out but all the electronics stay on, but the engine is no longer running I have changed the fuel pump and fuel filter. Does anyone have any advice for what I should look at next? I also don’t have any check engine lights come on.

Just because it’s a new pump doesn’t mean it’s a good one. As soon as it dies, kill the power to the ignition and check your Schrader valve on the fuel rail for good pressure. I had this issue with my MiLs car before.

          Check the crank sensor harness.

Believe I’ve seen a few injector/fuel rail issues with these set ups.

Definitely sounds like a crank sensor.

Throttle body could be dirty or a vaccum lesk

How long does the engine run before the problem presents… 3 minutes – 15 minutes – 2 hours?

Once it stalls, does it restart immediately, or do you need to wait for a period of time?
